Keri’s love of music began at an early age; and through the incredible gift of a caring and supportive vocal instructor in her early years, she realized her calling to teach music and musical theater while still in high school! She was lucky enough to lead classes and workshops after school and during the summer breaks for several years before enrolling in the music program at Manhattanville College. While enrolled in school, Keri discovered a love for music theory, and continued her study of voice and piano.
After earning her bachelor’s degree, Keri returned to Massachusetts to music direct and teach vocal lessons and classes. She is a proud member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), and continuously strives to bring new perspectives and theories to her students of all ages! She has worked with a multitude of fantastic colleagues to offer wonderful musical theater programs at the primary, secondary, and collegiate levels, and has had the pleasure of developing programs in multiple towns as well. She has also served as a cantor/soloist at several church communities, a choir/choral director for teen and adult vocal ensembles, and a section leader and soloist for various groups.
When she is not teaching, you’ll find Keri singing with her church friends, or on the sidelines of various sporting events, cheering on her 2 sons, who are her brightest blessings!
